Need Help finding a job?

A Personalized Approach to Meet Your Career Goals

We care about what you value in your next job, and we want to help you find a job that matches those values and leads to a satisfying, successful career. Whether you’re looking for the next gig or a long-term opportunity, we will help you through your next IT career move.

Types of Positions We Fill

Direct Hire

Direct hire positions are permanent, usually full-time positions. Patriot Talent Solutions is involved during the recruitment and hiring process, but after an offer is accepted, you will work for the client company. The process for direct hire can be a little slower because clients want to take their time when making a long-term decision.

Contract

Working an assignment for a fixed amount of time has its benefits. For one thing, employers tend to value extensive experience when hiring for these positions; bringing a technical professional in that can “hit the ground running” and do the job with little training is usually very important.

  • Contractors with Patriot Talent Solutions have access to medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, Life Insurance and paid holidays.
  • Patriot contractors receive consistent feedback on performance and project end dates/extensions while on assignment.
  • Contractors have an excellent opportunity to expand their network; the connections you make on contracts may result in more opportunities at a future date.
  • You have the opportunity to impress the employer which can lead to a full-time offer.
  • Since you are being paid as a contractor instead of a full-time employee, hourly compensation is typically more. You may also be eligible to deduct a portion of your work-related expenses that you wouldn’t normally qualify for.
  • You can be more selective in your career by sampling a number of employers by taking on a series of different contracts in a variety of industries.
  • Bottom line results are most important. Typically, what matters most in a contract position is the results that you produce for the employer within time, budget and scope. As a result, you may be able to avoid workplace politics.
  • If you don’t like to interview, typically contract positions have a less strenuous interview process.

Contract to Hire

Do you want flexibility in your work and don’t want to be stuck in a job or culture where you are not a fit? If so, contract-to-hire may be the right opportunity for you. A contract-to-hire job can be a win-win for both the employer and employee. Contract to hire opportunities are a hybrid of contract and direct hire. Typically, these opportunities vary in duration from three months up to a year, with the opportunity to become full-time, permanent jobs at the end of the contract. This form of job is becoming more popular as companies look to try before they buy. Many of the benefits of contracting are also available with contract-to-hire opportunities.

Our Job Placement Process

How it Starts

Patriot uses a “Listen First” communication style with technical professionals across the United States. We utilize many types of communication (voice, text, email, video, social media, etc…) to establish contact with you and deliver the most accurate information about relevant IT job opportunities.

Knowing What You Want

We partner with you to evaluate not only the job opportunity but also keep in mind your career desires. In many cases, we can identify and communicate interesting outliers of job opportunities that are not visible from a job posting (such as specific work schedule, benefits information, business challenges of the job, etc…). At this stage, Patriot will also review your resume.

What to Expect

We will walk you through any pre-qualifying steps, such as technical assessments, pre-interview questionnaires, etc… Let’s be honest, no one likes to take a test, and in most cases, we can also provide you with valuable insights or preparation.

Hiring Team Introductions

At the presentation stage, Patriot will create and send a robust submittal package to the employer. The submittal will typically include your resume, technical assessment(s) and references. We will also point out any other interesting outlier(s) that may be relevant to your candidacy.

The Interview Process

Patriot will schedule and prepare you for the interview stage. We will make your research on the employer and interviewing team as easy as possible.

Interview Feedback

It should not take more than a few business days to get feedback from an interview and in most cases, we can get feedback even faster. If feedback is slower, our recruiting team will still maintain contact with you until the next steps are determined.

Getting an Offer

In most cases, we can provide you with a neutral communication platform while you assess the offer details. Your recruiter can be invaluable during negotiations and position you for the best outcome in your career move.
