Knoxville, TN | Mobile Developer (Xamarin) (Remote)| Full-Time

We are actively recruiting a Mobile Developer (Xamarin) for our client in Murray, KY. This is a direct-hire opportunity. This is a remote position. Due to client's request, qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and configuration of software systems to meet market and/or client requirements, from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing) to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system, both end-to-end and for specific phases of the lifecycle
  • Work closely with the IT team to understand functionality and system requirements
  • Participate in the testing process through unit testing and bug fixes
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings
  • Participate in sprint planning
  •  Work closely with the QA team to ensure quality and punctual software development within his/her responsibilities
  • Develop software solutions to meet customer requirements through team and individual efforts
  • Assists in the analysis and composition of requirements
  • Write documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in backend, front-end, and database code
  • Write detailed specifications for substantial software functions
  • Provide mentorship to aid in professional growth of team
  • Analyze and review business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Develop new feature functionality, enhance and maintain existing code base, build unit tests, and participate in regular planning, status, specifications, and design meetings
  • Support production and customer response teams as issues arise, investigating issues and delivering patches as needed
  • Work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment with minimal supervision
  •  Own your work starting from product discussions to deployment in our infrastructure

 

Experience:

  • Designing, architecting, developing and delivering native mobile and cross platform Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Forms applications using Xamarin Studio or Microsoft Visual Studio
  • SQL Server and/or other relation database experience
  • C#
  • OO design (a plus)
  • Writing and executing unit test cases
  • SDLC
  • GIT version control

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Systems Administration, or a related subject
  • 2-3 years’ experience in software development
