We are actively recruiting a Email Delivery Specialist for our client in Knoxville, TN.  This position is direct hire. Due to client request, qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth investigations, reviews, and audits into email sending practices and provide actionable insights to improve deliverability.
  • Engage with customer onboarding to review new client’s email programs and deliverability as well as monitor and adjust ramp up plans to enable a high-quality customer onboarding experience that is engaged and efficient.
  • Use tools to establish enterprise level deliverability reporting and provide recommendations on additional tools to improve monitoring.
  • Monitor delivery metrics and create plans to improve inbox placement and IP reputation.
  • Reactively troubleshoot client specific deliverability issues for rapid resolution; including blacklists, spam traps, and issues with ISPs.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of performance quality measurements to ensure customer programs are continuously improving.
  • Provide thought leadership around email (and other messaging mediums) via writing blogs, articles, and whitepapers.
  • Establish direct relationships with ISPs to keep up with industry updates and mitigate deliverability issues.
  • Work with technical departments to ensure optimal deliverability of messages.
  • The ideal candidate will be an expert in monitoring and alerting on inbox thresholds and have in-depth knowledge of ISP’s.
  • Provides strategic guidance and recommendations on improving email deliverability and recipient engagement, improving program performance, and practices.
  • Ensure inbox deliverability for various types of messages, including transactional messages, promotional messages, and notifications.
  • Monitor delivery, inbox placement, engagement metrics, create plans to improve inbox placement, and IP reputation.
  • Be proactive in gaining knowledge of new industry trends, emerging technology, ISP treatment of commercial email, industry groups, and recipient behavior.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations, reviews, and audits into email sending practices and provide actionable insights to improve deliverability.
  • Provide recommendations on additional tools to improve monitoring.
  • Reactively troubleshoot deliverability issues for rapid resolution; including blacklists, spam traps, content blocks, and issues with ISPs.
  • Monitor and improve the reputation of our sending infrastructure.
  • Intimate knowledge of reputation management strategy and KPIs.
  • Setup daily, weekly, and executive level reports that track deliverability KPIs (inbox %, bounces, spam complaints, open rates, etc.).
  • Help launch new A/B tests, analyze results, and identify actionable opportunities and best practices to improve campaign performance.
  • Optimize lifecycle programs through testing of subject lines, call-to-actions, copy, content, and templates.
  • Monitor and report on email performance and deliverability, leading to the continuous improvement of user experience and overall ROI.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience
